Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Board is a multi agency forum which ensures that children and young people throughout Derbyshire are kept safe and have their needs met.
The board has senior representation from the key statutory agencies with a responsibility for safeguarding children.
Health (PCT, Hospital Trusts, Adult Mental Health Services)
Children and younger adults
Youth Offending Service
District and borough councils.
The board meets bi-monthly and takes a strategic lead in safeguarding children.
Safeguarding Board sub-committees meet regularly to undertake work on behalf of the board.

Serious Case Review
Training, Learning and Development
High Risk Management Group
Vulnerable Young People Panel.
