Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Procedures.

TheDerbyand  Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Procedures were launched in March 2007 and replace all previous guidance documents. Derbyand Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Boards have co-operated to ensure that the procedures are suitable for use in both areas.

These Procedures include the essential principles embodied in the Children Act 1989 and Children Act 2004 and take into account the best working practice. They also incorporate the thinking to be found in 'Working Together to Safeguard Children' (2006).
