Perspectives - Families' Views of Derbyshire Child Protection Conferences

Parents, carers and young people who attended child protection conferences between July 2006 and May 2007 were invited to give their views about their experiences of the process.  The information gathered will be used to inform Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Board and its partner agencies about the good and not so good aspects of families' experiences of being involved in the child protection process.

The Perspectives document gives a detailed analysis of information gathered from the survey.  It also makes recommendations for developments to strengthen current practice and to further inform improvements to the child protection process.
